Rick McCorkell

I have been involved in fitness and sports most of my life. As a youth I played basketball, ran cross country  and starting at the age 14 I competed in powerlifting. I have  had a passion for human performance and fitness for as long as I can remember. After high school I joined the Marine Corps and served with Weapons company 1/5 81′s platoon as a forward observer. After 4 years in the Marines I began training with Millennia MMA which started me down the path of actively competing in MMA , submission grappling and collegiate wrestling. Shortly into my MMA career I started following the CrossFit method in 2003 after I noticed a crossfit.com sticker on BJ Penns shorts. Since then I have been hooked on the physical and mental challenges that are involved in Crossfit. With my extensive background in both MMA and CrossFit I have been able to smoothly integrate the CrossFit method into training mixed martial artists, submission grapplers and the everyday fitness enthusiasts for over 10 years. Helping others achieve their athletic goals is my goal and truly is my passion.
